A Moment of Eternity
The world we know is there before our eyes
The moon, the stars, the day, the night awaits
The gods we knew were once up in the sky
We haven’t seen too much of them of late
The stars are out there oh so far away
The precious glow they give lights up the night
No reason or a rhyme for them to say
To make the case of how or even why
So I’ll just lay our blanket on the ground
Enjoy each little twinkle they provide
I’ll chance upon a star that’s falling down
To wish your every moment by my side
A day will come when we won’t be around
Until that day we’ll live our lives abound
