Cold Hard Rain

Late one night clouds were rolling in
I said some things to her that couldn’t be taken back again
When she walked out I knew I’d never be the same
She left me there after a Cold Hard Rain

So I fell hard into the deepest end
I didn’t give a damn about anyone or anything
So I hurt some man just to ease my pain
Now I’m behind these bars after a Cold Hard Rain

I die a little most every day
I pray a little but nothing ever seems to change
And I try sometimes to forget that day
But that feeling comes back every Cold Hard Rain
